Tuesday, 13th July - our former combatant - Jan and Marc - had prepared a trip in the direction of Fort Bragg for us. But just, former ones simply have to announce nothing more ! So it went to Reno, there we wanted to eat something. Jan, you did not want to Reno? Forget it! So we shifted «breakfast» to Susanville - there Philipp also got his Star Wars Toy - and we visited afterwards the Lassen Volcanic NP.

Philipp and I have expected a lot in California, but snow! However, the volcano broken out for the last time in 1914 had in July still richly of it. Besides, it smelt partly also quite after - how was it written in the «Official Map and Guide»: «rot egg»!!

After a five hours drive, when we come in Redding, we still wanted to undertake something, but what does one undertake in an American 65'000 inhabitant villages? - Nothing!
