Morro Bay

Tuesday, 6th July - Now they said: Suitcases pack and go on our first travel segment in the direction of San Francisco. This was easier said than was done! Los Angeles simply did not want to end. Only after over one hour we had escaped from the moloch. The hunger feelings had awoken likewise finally. We acquired the necessary food and consumed them in a windy little place on the coast of Santa Barbara.

On the way to our daily objective, Morro Bay, we still investigated quite briefly Los Allamos - California not New Mexico. Morro Bay distinguishes itself by two landmarks. To first ones the power station with the three chimneys which was built here because the ocean water is especially cold here. Secondly the Morro Rock, a smaller edition of the Eyres Rock which has been spitted out 20'000 years ago by a volcano stands here.
